5.1 The Information Technology Advisory Council (ITAC) needs one member from this committee to serve in an ex officio capacity on each of its subcommittees. The subcommittees are (this is not their final names; it is their scope): 

o Accessibility.   

both accessibility/accessible interfaces to systems and software, and overall equity of access to IT. 

o Data management.   

the full scope of data management across all domains: research ~ teaching ~ records. 

o Pathways of implementation.  

impacts of ITS decision-making on constituents; coordination between local IT units and ITS; coordination of hardware/software/service purchases to maximize impact and avoid unnecessary expense/effort/redundancy. 

o Security. Ingram 

the full scope of IT security, including acceptable and ethical use of computational systems. 

o Training and access.  

availability and use of existing resources, onboarding users effectively into existing systems/tools.
