Follow up on issues regarding graduate student guidance that had come to the attention of the Trainees and Research Advisory Committee in the College of Medicine: ACTION:
-
Investigate what has been done about measuring Graduate Student Retention and Student Success, particularly during the post-qual (767 credit hours) period. There may be some assessment we are not aware of?
-
Identify what, if any, professional development or written expectations might exist for either faculty or graduate students by talking to Graduate School/Faculty Development folks
-
What, if anything, do we report to Senate or refer to other committee/council?
-
Follow up on issue of Post-Docs not having parental leave. See benefits page. Refer to Grad Council?
New Business
